Our goal at the Byte Help Desk is to help you solve that pesky computer problem. Nothing is too small for us, as long as you get what you need.
We’ll be sure to help and explain things along the way to ensure you have control of what’s done. We offer Level 1, 2, & 3 Help Desk services in store or remotely, when possible, for computers running Windows OS (we hope to offer services for Apple products in the future).

What is Level 1, 2, or 3 service?
Level 1 Help Desk, or tier 1 support, is the first level in which customers or users can make direct contact with a live person to solve their problems. The goal of effective L1 support is to quickly resolve a user issue
Level 2 Help Desk, or tier 2 support, engages with a higher level of expertise and deeper knowledge of apps, systems, and issues. Tier 2 support involves in-depth troubleshooting and time-intensive problem-solving or more complex issues that are less common.
Level 3 Help Desk, or tier 3 support addresses much more complex issues. Tier 3 support may involve multifaceted technical issues that require experts with extensive knowledge of the product or service to untangle and resolve.
Level 1 Help Desk Examples: Email setup, Printer issues, Software installation
Level 2 Help Desk Examples: Network or configurations issues, Software bugs or errors, System configurations
Level 3 Help Desk Examples: Root cause analysis, Deploying critical updates, Infrastructure-level troubleshooting
Help Desk support
Help Desk support starts at $35 for the first half hour. After that, we charge $55 per hour. We can even do the work remotely, with an additional $5 one-time charge.
Any approved parts or software are not included in the above rates.
Website building
Let us put together your new website for you. We charge $400 to help you build that site (note that we do not build from scratch/code). This fee provides you with 10 hours of web building. Our hourly rate kicks in after that.
Learn with us
Learn something new, or gain working knowledge of some of that software you’ve been using. Drop us a line if you’re interested in some individual instruction. Special rates may apply if enough interest is shown. So we will quote you a price at the time of inquiry.
